Description
These are the armies of the worlds earliest empires. In these distant times Mesopotamia was divided into small city states that were constantly at war with each other. The very first chariots appear during this period and are drawn by wild asses called onagers. Proper horse-drawn chariots make an appearance about 2000 BC. Onager chariots are drawn by four wild asses possessed of ferocious ill temper and legendary intractability.
